This is my thesis so far for essay 2.
In my paper I will argue how rapidly Facebook has grown, and how Facebook used to be a place for university students and alumni to communicate and has now turned into a place for anyone of any age to communicate with each other.

It really has changed since its inception. Due to MySpace's popularity at the time, they took a page from them and opened it up to everyone so as to make it more accessible.
ReplyDeleteFacebook did what they had thought was necessary in order for them to succeed. One could say that they had sold out.
ReplyDeletefacebook is one of the many pages i have not visited or have an accoun in, i call my attention how stupic it can be and how drama can start though a stupid site, i like your desition on talking about this site.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great topic and I think there's lots to say about Facebook. Keep working though to think about what you will argue. Everyone can agree that the argument is now bigger and more diverse. You might argue whether this is good or bad and specifically how it is changing the space itself.
Research about Facebook and the decision to open membership to other groups on the site might help as you focus your argument.
Jen
